Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings in a last-ball thriller to clinch their fourth IPL title. Chasing a modest target of 150, Chennai’s opener Shane Watson displayed his class by smashing 80 runs in 59 balls. CSK was cruising towards the victory until MS Dhoni got run-out. The run-out was the game-changing moment and immediately sparked controversy amongst the CSK supporters.

MS Dhoni had a slow start, but CSK fans believed that he was going to steer CSK to their fourth IPL title. Ishan Kishan’s bullet throw caused trouble for Dhoni and the on-field umpired had to take the help of third umpire Nigel Llong for taking the decision. Dhoni was given out eventually, leading CSK fans fume at the decision. CSK fans expressed their rage through twitter.
