Meanwhile, a video has been trending on social media platforms involving an incident that took place way back in 1975 during a Test match between India and West Indies.

A woman, wearing a black saree, went running onto the cricket pitch. She dodged all the police personnel and went up to the then 23-year-old cricketer Brijesh Patel.

Moreover, she also kissed the batsman for a brief and then went away.

A Twitter user posted the video with #SareeTwitter and mentioned that it can’t be beaten. The user captioned the video and wrote, “Sorry this #SareeTwitter cannot be beaten.” Replying to the video, a Twitter user wrote, “She definitely wasn’t saree about what she did”

Brijesh Patel made his international debut in a Test match against England. Patel went on to play 21 Tests in which he managed to gather 972 runs at an average of 29.45. His top score of unbeaten 115 runs against West Indies in Port of Spain in 1976. The knock turned out to be his only international ton.
