Morgan became the first captain to lead England to a World Cup trophy. England clinched their maiden World Cup on the basis of superior boundary count. However, many questions were raised surrounding England's triumph over New Zealand.
Even Morgan admitted that it was not fair to have a result like that. After World Cup triumph, England are scheduled to face Ireland in one-off Test at Lord's.
England will also lock horns with rivals Australia in the Ashes, slated to take place from August 1 to September 16.
