Karnatak SA rally to down Kenkre FC 3-2

After switching ends the Karnatak outfit showed more urgency and managed to produce two quick goals in as many minutes to regain the lead.

Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) splendidly recovered to score a 3-2 win against a spirited Kenkre FC in an exciting Elite Division match of the MDFA League at the Cooperage Ground.

In a well-contested encounter, KSA against the run of play took the lead with Sohail Khatri finding the net in the 28th minute. But KSA’s joy was short-lived as four minutes later Kenkre restored parity with Girish Kamat scoring the equaliser and two minutes later they snatched the lead with Yash Mhatre netting their second goal to go into the break with a 2-1 advantage.

However, after switching ends the Karnatak outfit showed more urgency and managed to produce two quick goals in as many minutes to regain the lead. In the 64th minute Tushar Poojary got the equaliser and in the next minute KSA’s prolific and consistent scorer Roger Sam hit the target for the winner.
