ICC CWC'19: Pakistan fans clean stadium after New Zealand clash; Watch video

Mumbai: After their win against New Zealand following a terrific rise in form, Pakistan have steadied their chance of making it to the top four. The fans were also in equal competitive spirit on Wednesday.

In a video that surfaced recently, Pakistan fans can be seen staying back after the match to clean the stadium, picking up cards, banners and leftovers. Fans of the team were also seen apologising to Sarfaraz Ahmed after the skipper had been made the butt of jokes for days.

Pakistan’s fans have been one of the most attention seeking points of the World Cup. They have supported their own team, trolled their own team, been trolled for trolling their own team, and now are being applauded for showing tremendous sportsmanship spirit.

Since their defeat at the hands of India, Pakistan faced over a week of criticism. They then beat South Africa, and became the first team to beat an unbeaten New Zealand Side in the tournament. They must now win both of their remaining games to stand a chance of qualifying to the semi-finals.
