Ben Stokes was more popular than Taylor Swift during his Headingley Test knock

Mumbai: Ben Stokes trounced American singer Taylor Swift to become a more popular Wikipedia search for a brief period during his blockbuster Headingley Test knock.

Chartr -- an organisation which provides insights through graphical representation disclosed this interesting information.

The International Cricket Council (ICC), re-posted the data on their official Instagram account and said, "For a brief moment last weekend, Ben Stokes was a more popular Wiki search than Taylor Swift".

The ICC showcased their word play by compiling Taylor Swift's hit tracks -- Gorgeous, Wildest Dreams, Shake It Off, Out of the Woods -- together in a sentence to describe Ben Stokes' Headingley innings.

Stokes attained his career-best ranking in Tests after playing the stunning knock. He moved to the second spot in ICC Rankings for Test all-rounders.

Stokes will be next seen in action from September 4 during the fourth Ashes Test at Old Trafford in Manchester.
