Earlier, the 57-year-old was pictured visiting the famous Cocobay resort in Antigua.
Earlier this month, Shastri pipped Mike Hesson and Tom Moody to continue as the head coach of Team India. Shastri was chosen due to his impressive record with the side, assisting India to reach No. 1 ranking in Test matches.
India have won 13 out of 21 Tests, 43 out of 60 ODIs and 25 T20 Internationals out of 36 under Shastri's guidance.
Virat Kohli and Co, who have already gathered 60 points by winning first Test against West Indies will be looking forward to double that tally by attaining a clean sweep. India are currently sitting at the top of the table of World Test Championships.
