The Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) is keen to groom new football referees, and will be conducting classes for beginners at the Andheri Sports Complex on December 16 and 17. These classes will provide an opportunity for youngsters to learn the laws of the game, and become professional referees.

The classes will consist of extensive theory and practical sessions, under the supervision of renowned referee instructors from the AIFF panel of referees.

The course is open for both men and women, who are below the 40, and have a minimum qualification of SSC. All clubs affiliated with MDFA are requested to send at least two representatives to attend the course.

A nominal fee of Rs 1,000 per candidate will be charged. Candidates will be provided breakfast, lunch, T-shirt and a referee law book during the classes.
