ISL 4: Third straight loss for Delhi

Nigerian forward Izu Azuka scored in the 60th minute to hand the debutants their first win after a run of three consecutive goalless draws.

New Delhi: Jamshedpur FC consigned Delhi Dynamos to their third successive defeat in the Indian Super League 4, winning 1-0 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Wednesday, for their maiden victory of the tournament.

Nigerian forward Izu Azuka scored in the 60th minute to hand the debutants their first win after a run of three consecutive goalless draws.

Dynamos began their campaign with a 3-2 win away at Pune but have crashed 1-4 to Bengaluru, 0-2 to NorthEast before Wednesday’s defeat.

To compound matters further, their last two defeats have come at home, in front of very thin crowd. Jamshedpur’s Andre Bikey missed a penalty but Azuka ensured three points with a neat header off a Mehtab Hossain corner.
