Mumbai: Karen Pais and Ritacascia Ukachukuwa played the lead roles in Bodyline FC's convincing 8-0 win against an inexperienced Oscar Foundation in the women’s league match of the 16th Bandra West Football League at the Supari Talao municipal ground. The former junior international Karen struck four goals and Ritacascia netted three goals, while team-mate Neetu Masih added one to complete a stunning victory.
In another match, Anany Thakur scored a brace of goals as PIFA Colaba blanked Bombay Gymkhana 3-0. Asmita Takle got the other goal for the Colaba side.
Rush Academy also enjoyed a good outing as they tamed Sea View SC by an identical 3-0 margin. Mayuri More, Priyanka Ahilao and Mrinalini Singh, chipped in with a goal apiece to seal the win.
