Neymar's rape accuser dropped by third lawyer after she questioned his competence

Mumbai: Najila Trindade Mendes de Souza, the model who accused Neymar of rape apparently questioned her lawyer’s competence following which the lawyer, Danilo Garcia de Andrade decided to drop her case.

The lawyer wanted to see the content of a seven-minute video the model claimed to have filmed during her second meeting with the Brazil star.

A few seconds of the video have been leaked on social media, but Trindade claims that the tablet containing the entire video had been stolen in a break-in, a theory that her neighbours didn’t really support.

Trindade was carried out a police station by Garcia in his arms after her police statement earlier. "She was very emphatic and a client should not question the competence of a lawyer, much less one that leaves a police station carrying their client in their arms," said Garcia.
