London calling for Sergio Ramos, Pilar Rubio

It is that time when football players decide to take some off their fixtures and spend time with their loved ones. This time it was Sergio Ramos and his girlfriend Pilar Rubio who made the most of the international break by visiting London for the weekend. The pair, who have been in a relationship since 2012, took to Instagram to document their experience.

“London calling... The perfect weekend because of you, my love,” Ramos wrote as they shared a kiss on Carnaby Street.

Rubio, a Spanish reporter and television presenter, shared a snap of her own with the caption: ‘London is always special. With you, it can’t get any better.’

The couple have two children, Sergio (two), and Marco, who celebrated his first birthday on Monday. Ramos is playing no part in Spain’s international fixtures as he continues to recover from a knee injury picked up in La Roja’s World Cup qualifier in Albania last month.
