Nifty going through phase of consolidation

1,500 points swing was recorded in Sensex before it settled the day at 279.62 points, or 0.75 per cent lower at 36,841.60.

F&O expiry may see Nifty at new high

The Nifty closed at 150 points higher at 11,726 level, while the Sensex ended up 489 points at 39,054.
