iBall launches Phantom high speed SSD starting at Rs 5,425
The SSDs feature new generation 3D NAND flash and come in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities.
iBall has recently launched a new line-up of 2.5-inch Solid State Drives (SSD) in the Indian market called Phantom and is available in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities. Coming with the new generation 3D NAND Flash and turbo-boost SLC cache technology, the iBall Phantom helps in the improvement and performance of a PC.
This SSD is claimed to provide 10x faster boot-up time, shutdowns and application response. iBall claim the boot-up drastically reduce loading time and ensure seamless transitions and transfer times, as compared to conventional hard drives, making it more reliable and durable. Being shock-proof and vibration proof with no moving parts, the SSD comes with TRIM Command, Error Correction Code, RAID Capability and SMART system to ensure data transmission performance and reliability. The SSD comes with a read speed of up to 500MB, write speed of up to 430MB/s for 120GB and up to 500MB/s for 240 GB and 480 GB models.
With 3 year warranty, priced at Rs 5,425 for 120 GB, and Rs 8,425 and Rs 17,425 for 240 GB and 480 GB respectively, the product is already available with leading retail and online stores in India.
