LG's new robots to serve passengers at airports and malls
At the CES last year, LG introduced the Airbots – Airport Guide Robot and Airport Cleaning Robot, which are meant for cleaning the airports and help the people travelling around. The company is now gearing up to unveil their new innovative robots to help people carry their drinks, suitcases, and clothes while shopping.
After their successful implementation of their Airbots at Incheon Airport, South Korea, the company is set to bring their trio of robots at CES this year. This set of robots come under their ‘CLOi’ range – a new brand for all their innovative robots. The first CLOi robot named ‘serving robot’ has a sliding tray, which helps the passengers to fetch their drinks at the airports and hotels. The second CLOi robot named ‘porter robot’ can help passengers handle their baggage and can also assist in their express check-in and check-out. The third CLOi 'shopping cart robot’ can be a service to the passengers in their shopping and follow them around, carry their clothes and sum up the prices instantly.
We can see these concept robots launch at CES 2018, as these robot trio are currently being tested and two of them are already on trial at Incheon Airport, South Korea.
