These sunglasses will allow livestreaming on Facebook, Instagram

Acton, a company which primarily sells electric skateboards, has launched ACE Eyewear, a pair of sunglasses that doubles as a covert camera.

The new sunglasses feature a 120-degree wide-angle lens and about 1.5 hours of battery life of continuous recording, according to Acton.

The ACE Eyewear is capable of taking 8MP photos and capture up to 40 minutes of HD video. ACE’s accompanying app will enable users to organise and edit the photos.

The app will also allow users to livestream to Youtube, Facebook and Instagram, when connected to Wi-Fi. This would be an convenient way to stream footage without having to hold a camera or a smartphone in a specific direction.

The ACE Eyewear w are priced at $199, but users can avail them for $99 if they pre-order it now. Units are said to available by summer 2018, and will be on display at CES 2018.
