Realme AirPods killer coming soon to steal Apple's share of the pie

The Realme Wireless Youth Buds are expected to launch alongside the Realme X2 Pro.

After a strong showing in the smartphone accessories market with its power bank and the Realme Buds wireless earphones, the rapidly-growing smartphone giant is set to introduce its first pair of truly wireless earbuds. Dubbed the Realme Wireless Youth Buds, these true wireless earphones are expected to debut in India on November 20 alongside the Realme X2 Pro, which is one of the hottest anticipated smartphones of the year.

The Realme Wireless Youth Buds will follow the Realme Buds 2 and the Realme Buds Wireless as part of the brand’s audio portfolio. These earbuds are expected to debut before the Xiaomi Redmi AirDots in India.

As per a report by BGR, details on Realme’s upcoming true wireless earbuds were teased by the company’s Philippine’s Twitter handle with the tweet suggesting those who preorder the Realme XT will get the Wireless Youth Buds for free. This is a limited time offer and the Wireless Youth Buds will be priced at about 3,499 Philippines Peso (around Rs 4,900). There is a high possibility that Realme will first debut these true wireless earbuds in India before taking them overseas. The adjoining promo image also reveals the design of these buds and their colour scheme.

As far as the design goes, the Realme Wireless Youth Buds look similar to the Galaxy Buds and it sports the grey and yellow colour which is the company’s theme colours.
