Sony launches 3.1-Gen 1 USB flash drives

All three models feature metallic and anti-corrosive build with SuperSpeed 3.1-Gen 1 standards.

Sony India has launched 'Made in India' USB flash drive with USM-BA2, USM-CA2 and USM-MX3 for faster data sharing and transfer.

All three models feature metallic and anti-corrosive build. The USB flash drives come with a compact build, which makes them usable in tight spaces and also provides access to adjacent ports easily. The flash drives feature SuperSpeed 3.1 Gen 1, which promises to help transfer large media files to one’s PC in faster speeds.

The USM-MX3 series claim to be tiny sized USB flash drive with matte-finished parts. This latest series is also equipped with strap-hole and matte plastic grip for convenient carrying. The USM-MX3 starts at Rs 850 for 16GB variant all the way up to Rs 5,840 for 128GB.

The USM-BA2 series is equipped with a dual-port bridge with both micro USB and USB Type-A ports. The USM-CA2 also supports dual-port bridge which is equipped with both USB Type-C and A ports for compatibility. The USM-BA2 starts at Rs 950 for 16GB variant while the USM-CA2 starts at Rs 1,200 for 16GB variant. And these drives go all the way up to Rs 6,400 and Rs 9,210 for the larger 128GB variants respectively.

The USM-BA2 series is further compatible with Windows PC, Macintosh, AndroidTM smartphone and Tablet all equipped with USB Type-A port. Whereas the USM-CA2 series is compatible with Windows PC, Macintosh AndroidTM Smartphone and Chromebook Pixel equipped with USB Type-C / Type-A port. These USB Flash Drive are also four times faster than USB 2.0.
