Tenda unveils new Dual Band Wireless Wi-Fi adapter

Networking devices and equipment provider Tenda has unveiled its latest U12 AC1300 Dual Band Wireless Wi-Fi USB 3.0 Adapter. It shall sell for Rs 4,000 across India through Tenda’s authorized partners, reseller channels and e-commerce portals

The U12 can deliver Wi-Fi speeds up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, furthermore, it uses a USB 3.0 interface which has a 10 times faster transfer rate than USB 2.0. The device comes equipped with an extension cable to extend the USB connection length though, making it more convenient to plug the USB device in & out of the USB socket.

Due to its high-speed transmission with 256- QAM technology, Tenda U12 will able to support all online activities, claims the company, ranging from HD video streaming to lag-free online gaming and web surfing.

It also supports both the WPA and WPA2 encryption protocol and has a WPS button. The Tenda U12 will also be compatible with Windows XP/7/8.1/10, Mac OS 10.6-10.2, and Linux OS to address various wireless requirements.
