Misfit, the smartwatch arm of Fossil has launched of its ‘Vapor’ Smartwatch collection. Misfit Vapor is made of stainless steel and features a 1.39” full round AMOLED touch-screen display, built-in music player, GPS, accelerometer, altimeter, gyroscope, microphone, activity tracking, and an optical heart rate sensor.
The watch is powered by Android Wear 2.0 paired with a Snapdragon 2100 processor, enabling access to hundreds of apps, it also comes with voice commands activated using “OK Google” with a press of a button, and thousands of customisable watch faces. The watch also has Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.
On the fitness front, the smartwatch is able to show calories, pace, distance, and heart rate for runs, walks, and bike rides, and all other stats and info will be compatible with Google Fit. Onboard music player with 4GB of internal storage enables the ability to playback songs without the need of companion smartphone. The watch is also water resistant up to 50 meters.
The watch is compatible with both Android and iPhone and irrespective of the platform, the following apps will be available —Foursquare, Google Fit, Google MapsTM, Google PlayTM Music, Lifesum, Google Messenger, Runkeeper, Runtastic, Strava, Uber etc.
The watch is available exclusively with Flipkart for a price of Rs 14,495 and comes in two color options — Jet Black and Rose Gold.
