Nintendo issues Switch update to fix 'frozen rocket' bug
A new hardware called Mariko is in the works.
Nintendo has fixed a security vulnerability in its Switch console that allowed hackers to run arbitrary code on all current consoles.
The company has updated the Switch hardware with Nvidia Tegra chips which are secure against the exploit that goes by the name 'frozen rocket', Engadget reported.
The updated consoles, codenamed Mariko, are yet to hit the market. Meanwhile, the company has released some patched units running the firmware 4.1.
