F&D W40: Sight-n-sound speaker
Ditch that DJ—F&D's W40 speaker pulses to its own strobe lights.
F&D ("Fenda" to its fans) has established itself as a sound (pun intended!) audio brand. It has recently brought a sturdy portable Bluetooth speaker W40 to India. Portable should not be confused with personal.
This is a sturdy 1.8 kg rectangle some 30cm long, that you can carry to beach or pool and trust to its belting out enough volume for the outdoors with its 40-watt (twin 20 watt) speakers.
You can activate DJ lights that sync with the sound. The rechargeable 1800 mAh battery is good for some 3-5 hours. In addition to Bluetooth pairing with other music sources, it can also take a microSD card or an AUX audio cable.
Bass boost is optional — there is an X-Bass button. And if you download the Fenda app on your phone you can control all functions, switch to FM radio or couple two W40 units for better effect.
The F&D W40 costs Rs 12,990, a sound proposition for regular party organisers.
