Fitbit launches three new smart' devices in India
Fitbit announced the availability of three new devices in the Indian market – Fitbit Ionic smartwatch, Fitbit Flyer wireless headphones, and Fitbit Aria 2 Wi-Fi Smart Scale. While the Fitbit Ionic has been priced at Rs 22,990, the Fitbit Flyer is available for Rs 9,990, and lastly Fitbit Aria 2 will be available for Rs 9,990.
These devices will be available February 2018 onwards with retailers in Reliance Digital, Croma, and Helios and will be available on online stores as well.
The Fitbit Ionic smartwatch tracks heart rate and is 50 meter water resistance. It also has GPS runs on Fitbit OS and incorporates onboard music, smart notifications, and several different apps and clock faces in the Fitbit app gallery. The smartwatch is expected to have a battery life of up to 5 days, with automatic activity and sleep tracking features. The ‘SpO2’ sensor is a special feature which helps estimate oxygen levels in the blood. The smartwatch will be available in three colour combinations – silver gray tracker and clasp with blue gray band, smoke gray tracker and clasp with charcoal band, and burnt orange tracker and clasp with slate blue band.
The wearable brand’s first pair of wireless headphones, named the Fitbit Flyer, has a sweat proof design and can also control music and calls. It apparently has a battery life of 6 hours on a single full charge. The Fitbit Flyer also features passive noise isolation for an immersive audio experience. Quick charge support, multi-device connectivity, and compatibility with the Fitbit Ionic smartwatch are the other feature which the headphones boast of.
Available in Black and White colour variants, the new Wi-Fi smart scale named Fitbit Aria 2 has been designed to measure body composition indicators like lean mass, BMI, body fat percentage, and weight. Bluetooth connectivity and stats sync automatically to the Fitbit dashboard.
