Over the last few years, smartphone manufacturers have begun to get rid of 3.5mm audio slot offerings on major models with the transition to using USB-C slots or Lightning ports on Apple devices. With the extinction of the 3.5mm audio slot is becoming a reality that we have to take, it has opened up space for the wireless audio device market that allows you to listen to music and answer calls easily.

Wireless devices are now important as one can not use this slot when your device is charging. From the beginning, Apple’s Airpods is seen as a benchmark for the wireless earphones, especially due to the unique design and special charging box. However, they sell for nearly $200, which isn’t exactly affordable to everyone and can only be used with Apple devices.

Padmate offered a wireless audio device called PaMu 1.0 a while ago by securing nearly $1 million allocated through the IndieGogo campaign. Now, PadMate will introduce the second generation of audio devices known as the PaMu Scroll on Indiegogo for $39. Compared to the original PaMu 1.0, the new PaMu Scroll features several upgrades. For starters, it will rely on Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. With wireless charging, users can simply put it on their wireless charging pads instead of struggling with pesky connectors. The unique scroll design also makes for a stylish yet convenient design that enhances user experience.

Unlike most wireless earbuds, the PaMu Scroll can route call audio to both the earbuds, which make sit easier to attend calls while on the move. Padmate claims that an enhanced bass should suffice for audiophiles. Lastly, the unique build is around 23 per cent lighter than its predecessor. The wireless charging receiver can even upgrade all existing micro USB devices to allow wireless charging.

With more than 10,000 backers on Indiegogo, interested buyers can still back the project and can get their hands on the product for $39, which is the introductory price before it shoots up to the regular price of $149.
