Ahead of Diwali, Dell launches multiple gaming and feature-rich laptops
Dell Technologies is launching its consumer and gaming PC portfolio with 12 new products, which would include feature-packed notebooks and All-In-Ones (AIOs) across XPS, Inspiron, Alienware and Dell G Series.
All of the new products shall be powered by Intel’s latest 10th Generation Core Processors.
Here are the products launched by them, this week-
XPS 13 (7390) laptop
It is said to have a 2.25-mm webcam which is said to be one of the smallest, ever. This will help maintain its InfinityEdge display while moving the camera to the top of the display and offering a better video experience. The XPS 13 also supports Dolby Vision and will be available offline for sale from October 2nd at a starting price of Rs 113,990.
XPS 15 (7590) laptop
A first for the XPS line, the new device will have an OLED display. It will also have self-lighting pixels which switch off completely to achieve perfect black for significantly higher contrast. The 15.6-inches performance laptop will also offer the longest battery life among any other similarly sized laptop at 56 WHR. This was found by a study commissioned by Dell.
The XPS 15 (7590) went on sale on the 24th of September, priced at Rs 166,990. Currently, all the new laptops are only available at offline multi-brand stores and Dell outlets.
Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 (7391)
The laptop will now come with a garage in the hinge that provides storage for the included full-size Active Pen. This way, it shall be accessible no matter how it is used. It shall also feature Adaptive Thermal technology, this monitors and generates less heat when watching movies on a lap but ramps up to full power for productivity on a desk. It also features Far-field Cortana, Windows Hello, and ExpressCharge technologies. This laptop will be available for retail from October 2nd at a starting price of Rs 90,290.
Inspiron 14 7000 (7490)
With light-weight magnesium alloy material, this laptop will weigh only 1.095kg. Always ready features, such as a lid-open sensor, Connected Modern Standby, WiFi 6, fingerprint reader, up to 21 hours of battery life, NVMe SSDs, and more are also present in the device. At stores and outlets, it will be available from October 2nd at a starting price of Rs 86,890, all-inclusive
Gaming Laptops
For the growing base of PC gamers in India, Dell has brought in Alienware m15 and the new, Dell G3 3590. Alienware m15 will offer a 4K OLED HDR 400 Eyesafe display, designed to lower blue light emissions while maintaining colour integrity. It will also have Tobii Eye Tracking. It began to retail from the 24th of September, at an all-inclusive price of Rs 1,88,490.
Next, the Dell G3 3590 brings competitive gaming to the budget-conscious gamer. The laptop will have a new Game Shift feature, which would enable maximum fan speed for optimal processor performance during periods of intense gaming at the click of one button. It will also have the Alienware Command Center, the central hub that allows gamers to customize all aspect of their experience and an audio module specific to gamers to improve their gaming strategy. The 15-inch G3 also shows its outward innovations through a thin-and-sleek design, narrow borders, optional 144Hz gaming display and 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard. Like the Alienware, it has also begun to be sold at Dell stores, retail and multi-brand outlets at Rs 70,990
Other products launched this week include the Inspiron 14 5000 (5490), Inspiron 14 5000 (5590), and the Inspiron 24 5000 (5490, Inspiron 27 7000 (7790) All In Ones. These are already on sale on Dells website as well as at offline stores. The laptops Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 (7391), Inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1 (5491) and Inspiron 15 5000 (5593) will go on sale early next month.
