Apple debuts its first leather MacBook sleeve
After launching iPhone X and with all the hoopla surrounding it, which sold out immediately after pre-orders went live, Apple has again unveiled a new jewel stored under the ‘Apple crown’, however, for another of their flagship products — the MacBook.
Apple had earlier made cases and accessories for iPhones and iPads to keep them cosy but never made a laptop sleeve. Apple has launched a new leather sleeve accessory for the 12-inch MacBook.
The new MacBook sleeve features a slit along the horizontal edge of the leather. The laptop sleeve comes in two variant that is Saddle Brown and Midnight Blue. The company claims that the sleeve is made from high-quality European leather with a soft microfiber lining’. Thoughtfully, the design of sleeve allows a user to charge their MacBook with a USB-C cable while the unit is enclosed inside. The product will be available in Apple stores from November 1. The laptop sleeve is priced at $149 (approximately Rs 9,667).
