Instagram gets pushy with consistent Stories bar

The company appears to be constantly testing there 'Stories' bar that follows you down the feed.

Instagram really wants you to follow the 'Stories' posted by your friends. The company appears to be constantly testing there 'Stories' bar that follows you down the feed, The Verge reported.

Usually, the 'Stories' bar lingers at the top and doesn’t follow you down, but it looks like Instagram is testing a more persistent sticky approach, keeping 'Stories' in front of you all the time. For some, it might be a little unnerving seeing the Stories bar on top all the time, but for those who are sharing more of these short-lived clips, it will turn out to be convenient.

An Instagram spokesperson gave the standard new-feature-in-testing comment: “We’re always testing ways to improve the experience on Instagram and make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you.”

Besides, soon one will be able to add a soundtrack to their 'Stories' on Instagram. While recording 'Stories' with background sound was possible earlier, the new addition allows you to choose a track before or after recording the video, Engadget reported.

All you need to do is tap on a photo or video and a music icon will show up. Tap on it further to select from the library to search and add a track.
