Google to add auto delete for location, web history
The feature will be rolled out to the masses in the coming weeks.
If you have been manually wiping off traces of your whereabouts on the internet or in real life, Google is introducing a new tool to automate the process.
Google announced its new auto-delete controls for location history and 'Web & App' activity to make data management easier.
Simply choose a time limit for your activity data, from 3 months to 18 months, and any data older than that will be automatically deleted on an ongoing basis. The feature will be rolled out to the masses in the coming weeks.
