Google Maps will now tell your friends if your battery is running low

Remember the time when you are trying to navigate to an unknown place to meet your friends and the battery dies down? Well, Google has come up with a solution for that.

Google Maps has been added with a new feature that allows you to share your battery level information with your friends, according to a report by Mashable. The feature is an opt-in service targeted primarily at the safety of the user.

"The app will let the person waiting for you know if your phone is dying or if you're all juiced up. Presumably, this is to make sure you're safe and doing OK," the report stated.
