Gameloft announces Asphalt 9: Legends
One of the world’s most popular mobile racing games, Asphalt is now back with a brand new game in the series. Gameloft, the creators behind the Asphalt series has recently announced Asphalt 9: Legends, the next game in their popular car racing franchise.
Gameloft claims that Asphalt 9: Legends comes with a plethora of licensed cars, high-end graphics and as with the previous versions, a lot of in-app purchases. The brand claims that with Legends, they bring a graphic quality to mobile phones that were only previously witnessed on gaming consoles. The powerful new engine used here delivers high dynamic range (HDR) graphics and physically based rendering (PBR), giving every speck of light enough detail to be reflected as it would in real life. They claim that attention to detail combined with iconic locations and the world’s most prestigious cars make it an immersive experience. There is a strong multiplayer and social feature set too available in Asphalt 9: Legends.
The game retains the stunt mechanics of previous generations along with a new Touchdrive feature which adds a different approach to driving controls. Additionally, there is an online multiplayer mode that features real-time racing with up to 8 players. Gameloft states that the Asphalt community will discover the fully integrated social features including a clan system and clubs that allow for worldwide cooperation. The connected features of Asphalt 9: Legends provide players with an enhanced social experience and with more updates to come throughout this year.
Gameloft ends off by stating that there will be many multiplayer surprises in store for players worldwide.
Asphalt 9: Legends is already available as a soft launch on the Android OS and it will officially be made available on iOS in the near future.
