Here's how you can use Android apps without actually installing them

Google's Instant Apps allows users access to apps without installing them.

Search giant Google at its 2016 I/O conference introduced a new feature called ‘Instant Apps.’ The platform allowed users to use Android apps without actually installing them in their smartphones. At the time of the launch, Instant App feature was only available in limited countries. The firm has finally brought the app to the Indian market.

Interested Android users can check out the ‘Google’ menu under the ‘Settings’ option in their smartphones. “To turn this feature on, you only have to tap on the toggle button available at the top-right corner of the Instant Apps screen, and then tap on “Yes, I’m in” to confirm,” reported Mobigyaan. Following which, the users will be able to make use of all the available apps in the Google Play Store, without actually installing them.

For now, the latest Instant App feature is only available on Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones. Google hasn’t any mention of when the feature will be introduced for use in other Android-enabled smartphones.
