Turning the idea of a traditional record player into a compact, multi-functional system is DUO, a portable turntable with a detachable Bluetooth smart speaker. The top portion has the turntable, which has a reduced platter size, 3.2 inches in diameter.
According to the manufacturers, DUO has a unique rotational stabilisation facility that helps minimise vibrations. It also has a wow and flutter (the extent of distortion that happens when a turntable plays a record) of less than 0.9 per cent. The speaker has a range of 10 to 15 metres and when stored, slides under the turntable to create one flush unit.
