According to the company, the figures help charge a drained 4000mAh battery to 50 per cent in just 25 minutes
One of Xiaomi’s latest innovations is the Mi Charge Turbo, which is a wireless charging technology that operates at 30W, equivalent to OnePlus’ Warp Charging, one of the fastest in the world. The tech uses a 5-layer nanocrystal receiver coil with a 98 per cent conversion efficiency, keeping temperatures from getting too high.
According to the company, the figures help charge a drained 4000mAh battery to 50 per cent in just 25 minutes, which is insane for any charger, let alone a wireless charger. A full charge will reportedly take 69 mins.
Xiaomi confirmed that the new charger will be making its debut alongside the Mi 9 Pro 5G flagship phone, launching this month. There however was no mention of the phone coming with the charger or a separate purchase will be required.
The company also announced that it is also working on a 40W wireless charger.
