Search giant Google has announced a new Files To Go app that enable the users to share and manage the files on Android devices. The app recently appeared on Play Store in a closed beta program but was quickly removed. Users can now download the beta phase on the Play Store.

The device running Android 5.0 or above can download the app for free and has no in-app purchases and ads. The app is designed to clean up device’s space and takes less than 6MB.

The app also recommends the users to uninstall the less-used apps from their smartphone resulting in a faster mobile experience. It can also recognise the spam and duplicate images and help their phone delete them. The Files To Go app also allow you to share files offline.

With the advent of this new app, Google will go against the likes of popular sharing app ShareIt and Apple’s AirDrop.
