In growing demand of the SSDs, GIGABYTE has finally entered the market. The company has launched its UD PRO series SATA Interface SSDs with built-in DDR3 RAM.

Newly introduced GIGABYTE UD PRO series SSDs include both 256GB and 512GB capacity options featuring a black and grey exterior.

The SSDs utilise high-quality 3D NAND Flash memory, they also claim to come with a high-speed, low power DDR3L buffer cache to accelerate the read/write speeds of the SSD. The UD PRO-series drives are based on Phison’s PS3110 S10 controller as well as Toshiba’s BICS3 3D TLC NAND memory, this was a sequence prefaced by Phison late last year.

The SSDs feature random write (IOPS) is up to 16 times, that claims to be faster than non-buffer cache versions. The SSDs feature sequential read speed up to 530Mbps and write speed up to 500Mbps.

Additionally, integrated DDR3L RAM allows users to make use of the entire flash memory capacity without sacrificing performance quality or storage capacity. GIGABYTE assures that it has thoroughly tested the UD PRO series SSDs by implementing them on a full range of motherboards with their respective chipsets to evaluate both the functionality as well as durability of the SSDs.

GIGABYTE UD PRO series SSDs come with a 3-year or up to 200TBW warranty and will be available soon on the market.
