Follow these 5 steps and switch from iOS to Android

Google on 13 December activated a new Google Drive feature that allows users to transfer their data from an iPhone or iPad to a new Android device. The procedure is quite simple as it eliminates the trouble a user would have to go through in order to switch from iOS to Android without having to lose their important data.

Here is how you can switch from iOS to Android:

1. Create a Google Drive account.

2. Install the Google Drive app on your iPhone. Ensure that it is the updated version.

3. Launch the app and tap on the Menu button.

4. Select settings and choose backup.

5. Tap on Start Back-up option.

Once the procedure is complete, users who sign in to their Google accounts will see their data downloaded to their respective Android apps.
