JUUL tells Facebook, Instagram to remove teen vaping posts
The announcement comes after it was reported that the FDA would prohibit the sales of flavoured pods.
JUUL, an electronic cigarette company, is asking social media companies including Facebook and Instagram to remove posts from their platform which depict teens JUULing or vaping.
The company announced a handful of new measures to prevent teens from using its products, Mashable reported.
The announcement comes after it was reported that the FDA would prohibit the sales of flavoured pods.
So JUUL decided to take the matter in its own hands and restrict the sale of its products to special stores where a buyer's age can be verified, in addition to requesting social media companies to remove content showing underage users smoking JUUL products.
