On the occasion of Children’s Day, here is news of two new edutainment resources for kids on desktop or on mobile device:

Kidukidu
The Thiruvananthapuram- based digital content company, Invis Multimedia hosts the first India-specific online video encyclopedia, IndiaVideo.org in partnership with UNESCO and YouTube. It has recently created an exclusive site for children, filled with educational and entertainment videos. Kidukidu.com aims to improve their creativity, communication skills and motor skills. YouTube Kids
Last week YouTube launched an India-specific version of YouTube Kids, an app that makes it easier for kids to find videos on topics they want to explore. With large images and bold icons, YouTube Kids is made for little thumbs to navigate and offers voice search to let children find video’s even if they can’t spell or type. Many top Indian YouTube kids and learning creators will be adding new shows exclusive to the YouTube platform. The app is downloadable for free on Google Play and the App Store in India.
