After Snapchat, Instagram to copy Pinterest

The Facebook-owned app is adding a new feature that allows users to save individual posts into collections.

Facebook-owned Instagram quickly gained the reputation of ripping off major features from Snapchat. Now that there are no more features left in Snapchat to copy, the photo-editing app has moved on to Pinterest. The company is planning on adding a new feature that will allow users to save individual posts into collections.

For instance, if you are a fan of flowers or gadgets, you can now save all the posts in their respective folders. Post which, you can visit these images whenever you feel like. The new feature holds a great amount of resemblance with how things work on Pinterest.

The only difference that will remain between Instagram’s ‘Collection’ feature and how Pinterest works, is that the former will remain private. In other words, only you will have access to the images unlike how Pinterest works.
