Users who have an iPhone, you’ll also see an updated set of colour filters in the camera. You need to simply tap the camera icon in the top left of the screen or swipe right from anywhere in the feed. Once you’ve captured your moment, swipe left or right to discover different colour filters then tap ‘next’ to add to your story or send to friends directly.

To recall, Instagram is testing new waters. The company is trying out an app for private messages called Direct. 'Direct' will be a standalone app, which could also be the company’s first step towards separating the messaging feature from its core app. Quite similar to what Facebook had done by shutting down the message feature in the app.
