Pokemon GO lovers will soon have another augmented reality-powered distraction to hit trees or fall into puddles as Microsoft is working on a similar, immersive version for its classic Minecraft game.
As part of the 10th-anniversary celebrations, Microsoft announced its new mobile game Minecraft Earth, the AR-based version that allows you to build cool castles or buildings using the real-life environment as the backdrop, the official blog explains.
Minecraft Earth is currently limited to beta and users are required to sign up for a chance to play the limited edition coming this summer. Beta players will also get a free Earth skin that works with Minecraft Bedrock.
