Samsung India has launched a new interactive digital display — Flip, for B2B customers in the Indian market. The South Korean giant unveiled 'Flip' at Consumer Electronics Show 2018 (CES).

The new board works as a digital whiteboard. It is powered by Tizen Processor paired with an 8GB network storage. Flip sports a 55-inch display with 4K UHD resolution. Moreover, it can be customised to portrait orientation of 2160x3840 pixel and landscape orientation 3840x2160 pixel resolution.

On the connectivity front, it includes Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 (x2), HDMI, NFC, Bluetooth, and comes with a wooden stylus. There are two 10W speakers built-in. The digital whiteboard can simulate the mobile UI and allows users to control the mobile device from its large touchscreen. The digital board comes in a single colour variant — Light Gray colour.

The company says that the Flip can be used in meeting rooms and other collaborative environments. Users do not need a specialised touch pen to interact with the screen and can erase notes through a quick palm swipe. The board comes with two touch pens whose pen colours can be changed into different colours. The new digital board support the passive touch technology, meaning users can use any pointed object as a pen.

Flip users also can access up to 20 pages of writing space, with embedded search functionalities available to instantly direct participants to specific content. This digital display supports four participants in sharing and annotating content. All the data and other files are stored in a central database. Moreover, there is also a password-based locking system for every file.
