PUBG Mobile Chinese beta gets Helicopters, Airstrikes, RPGs and more
Other new elements include the ability to shoot smoke bombs to explode them and call airstrikes on areas of the map.
Even though the current season just crossed the halfway mark of the ocean-themed season 8, we continue to find details about what’s coming next to the game. A beta update to the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile brought some big elements to the already popular mobile battle royale platform.

PUBG Mobile tipster Mr Ghost gaming surfaced the use of operable helicopters, grenade launchers and even RPGs in the new version. There is also a BRDM military vehicle (basically a tank) that replaces the bulletproof UAZ you could get from firing flare guns outside the white circle.
Here are the new features explained in detail-
Helicopter
Of all the new elements, the helicopter is probably the most exciting. The vehicle offers the capacity of carrying four people including the pilot, so your whole squad can grab one to fly around and quickly get to distant areas in the game. Not just that, the Helicopter also allows the three members apart from the pilot to peek out and shoot just like they could if they were in a car.
BRDM Military Vehicle
The BRDM Military vehicle which replaces the UAZ is essentially a tank that is bulletproof like the UAZ, but can travel on land as well as water. This will provide very handy in scenarios when you’re trapped far away from the white circle without a nearby bridge to get you over to the military island. You will still need to find a flare gun to get one though.
Grenade and Rocket launchers
The game also brings Rocket and Grenade launchers as new weapons in the game. The M3E1 Rocket launcher lets you launch a mini missile-like rocket to wherever you aim and will support homing locked targets so it will go hit the target even with bad aiming. The MGL and M79 grenade launcher will let you throw projectile grenades upto a certain distance which will explode on impact.
Airstrikes
Players can also call for airstrikes in areas of the map. This will make the designated area turn red, identical to the red zone.
Exploding Gas Cans
Gas Cans get better than before as now they can not only be used to refuel vehicles, but can also be shot to create explosions.
