An iPhone user has decided to sue Apple and is the latest plaintiff in a series of lawsuits against cell phone giant Apple after his iPhone 6 reportedly exploded.

According to The Business Journal, Nwabueze Umeh has filed a lawsuit in the Fresno County Court, seeking damages. The lawsuit document provides information about the injuries the man has experienced after the device ignite.

The source claims that this is the fifth lawsuit that Gustafson Nicolai, a Los Angeles-based law firm, has filed against Apple for iPhones that have purportedly exploded. Most of the lawsuits also involve vendors, stores, and carriers name that sold the iPhones. As of now, Apple has not commented on this issue.

Last year, several iPhone models caught fire, though never pointed out much as it did not affect people at large. This damage is believed to have caused battery issues, which lead to overheating and increased the risk rate of the phone.
