Coolpad launches Mega 5, Mega 5M and Mega 5C smartphones

These budget handsets are priced attractively ranging from Rs 3,999 to Rs 6,999.

Coolpad has recently announced three handsets in its Mega series — Mega 5, Mega 5M and Mega 5C in India. Extending their Mega series of smartphones, Coolpad is targeting the offline market in India as all three smartphones will be offline exclusive and will sell through multi-brand outlets across India.

Coolpad Mega 5 comes with a 5.7-inch full vision 18:9, HD+ display powered by Mediatek quad-core MT6739 processor. The phone comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage, the rear has a dual-camera setup with the primary sensor rated at 13MP while the secondary shooter found here is 0.3MP. The front-facing camera is 5MP. Mega 5 comes with a 3000mAh battery, athe fingerprint sensor on the back, a face unlock feature and runs on Andriod 8.1 Oreo. The phone comes with 3 dedicated card slots for expandable storage as well as dual SIM support. The Mega 5 will be available for Rs 6,999 in India and will sell in three colour variants — Blue, Gold and Dark grey.

The Coolpad Mega 5C is priced at Rs 4,499 and comes with a 5.45-inch full vision, HD+ display powered by 1.3GHZ quad-core processor. The phone comes with 1GB RAM + 16GB of storage expandable up to 32GB; it has a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. Mega 5C is powered by a 2500mAh battery, has a face unlock feature and runs on Andriod 8 Oreo. The phone comes with 3 dedicated card slots.

Coolpad Mega 5M is the most budget-friendly device among the three and is priced at Rs 3,999. It comes with a 5-inch HD display powered by a 1.2GHZ quad-core processor. The phone comes with 1GB RAM + 16GB of onboard storage expandable up to 32GB; it also sports a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front snapper. The phone comes with 3 dedicated card slots. Mega 5M packs a 2000mAh battery and runs on the Andriod platform.

The key highlights of Coolpad Mega series products have been quality features at best possible price ranges and Coolpad is looking forward to reviving its brand presence via a range of budget smartphones. Coolpad has been looking forward to putting the brand on the forefront again after a successful stint in India in their earlier part of the journey and is looking forward to becoming a prominent budget smartphone brand in the Indian market again.
