How to customise your iOS 11 control centre

Apple recently launched its new operating system, the iOS 11. The new operating system promises to offer new features and system upgrades as well. While many users were able to adapt the new operating system, there are a lot of users that are yet to figure the potential of the new OS.

For instance, Apple has made the Control Centre customisable. The feature still offers the same tools you are familiar with, including flashlight, airplane mode, and AirPlay mirroring. The new OS allows you to add a whole bunch of new shortcuts and features and also lets you customise the layout according to your needs. Here’s how you can do it.

To start with, you’ll have to upgrade your iPhone to the latest iOS 11. To update the phone you have to go to the Settings menu or by connect your device to a computer and launch iTunes. Make sure your phone is connected to WiFi and it has at least 2GB free storage. Once you are done updating your phone, here’s how you customise the Control Centre.

To customise the Control Centre, hop into Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls. Under More Controls, tap on the Add Button next to any button you want to add. You can also remove a button by using the Remove Button under the control.

The Control Centre also allows you to see options for modifying the feature. You can alter your flashlight's brightness, set timers or alarms and change music volume.
