Your iPhone battery is informing you how you waste time: Listen to it
We have all been there, scrolling the feed on social media platforms, determined to sneak into other people’s lives, like some pictures of dogs or feel motivated by some inspirational quotes. After few hours, you realise that you have wasted a lot of time while scrolling through the feed. There are lot of management apps out there that allows you to track the amount of time you spent on your PC, but not many exist on your iPhone, mostly for the security reason.
Instead of eating up space on your smartphone by installing an extra app, you can find out where you waste most of your time by visiting your iPhone’s battery section, according to The Next Web. The Battery Usage section tells you how much time battery power each app consumes in the past one week or 24 hours.
By tapping on the clock icon beside the ‘Last 7 Days’ button display the amount of time you have spent on a particular app.
Users can also put their iPhones on the ‘Low Power Mode,’ and stop automatic downloads, reducing visual effects and by closing the apps running in the background.
The setting also allows you to toggle the numeric battery percentage display in the top right corner of the display. This information might actually prove useful and encourage you to keep your phone down for some time and give rest to your eyes.
