CORSAIR launches Obsidian 500D PC case
CORSAIR has unveiled new Obsidian series of PC cases, dubbed 500D. The company claims that with its clean exterior lines, smoked tempered glass side panels and a curved aluminium front, the Obsidian 500D provides a minimalist design.
The company says both tempered glass side panels are hinged to the rear and completely removable, allowing users to keep them out of the way during installation, and front-and-centre when it's time to use the PCs. Moreover, the two included SP120 cooling fans and CORSAIR Direct Airflow Path design are claimed to channel cool air effectively to the internals. The cases also have room for up to six 120mm cooling fans or up to a 360mm radiator for the cooling setups. The case also comes with a vertical mount for additional dedicated GPUs.
The cabinet comes with easy-to-use mounts for up to two 3.5-inch HDDs and three 2.5-inch SSDs, thus allowing for expansive storage space. Additionally, it comes with the USB 3.1 Type-C port on the front panel. The CORSAIR Obsidian Series 500D is available for purchase via authorised retailers as well as from their website.
