Google has started rolling out the Schedules feature for Google Assistant.

With Schedules, you can set commands for a specific time on specific days. For instance, you can set your room lights to switch on every workday at 7 AM, without having to repeat the instruction drill everyday, TechCrunch reported.

Apart from the Schedules feature, it had also rolled out the custom routines feature which was activated after Google I/O. With this function, you just need to save a single phrase which can make it execute several tasks altogether such as playing your favourite music, switching ON the lights, telling about the weather and reading news for you.

The feature can be made operational via the Google Home app. To automate such processes simply go to Google Home app > Settings > Routine > and set a new routine with the + button.
