Samsung has launched a new 16GB variant of the Galaxy On Nxt in India. The new Galaxy On Nxt variant will be available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart starting January 3. The new handset is priced at Rs 10,999, though for a limited period it will be made available for Rs 9,999 during the Flipkart 2018 Mobiles Bonanza sale.
The new On Nxt smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Samsung's custom UI on top. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset, clubbed with 3GB of RAM.
As for the camera, the handset sports a 13MP camera sensor on the back with an LED flash and an 8MP camera sensor on the front. Moreover, the primary camera sensor supports full-HD video recording at a frame rate of 30fps.
The 16GB storage is expandable up to 256GB that can be added to a dedicated slot. On the connectivity front, the new Galaxy On Nxt includes Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE and Micro-USB. The smartphone draws its power from 3300mAh non-removable battery.
Additionally, the Galaxy On Nxt with 32GB internal storage was originally launched back in October 2016 at a price of Rs 18,490. Later, the South Korean company expanded the line-up with the 64GB Galaxy On Nxt variant at a price of Rs 16,900.
